Sunday 10th, American Trade Hotel

PABLO TRAPERO, DIRECTOR OF EL CLAN, WILL CONDUCT A MASTERCLASS THIS SUNDAY AT IFF PANAMA

Saturday, April 9, 2016

Sunday 10th, from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 m.
American Trade Hall
American Trade Hotel

Based on one of the most shocking stories in the annals of Argentine crime, the latest from Pablo Trapero is a grippingly grotesque thriller about a Buenos Aires family whose secret business is kidnapping and murder. The Clan had the largest opening weekend of any Argentine film in history for good reason: the subject is equal parts chilling and fascinating—and the filmmaking is muscular and ferociously stylish.

Pablo Trapero, the admired director of the winning film of the Goya Award for Best Latin American Film, will offer a masterclass at IFF Panama this Sunday, at 11:00 at the American Trade Hall of the American Trade Hotel. Trapero's lecture will be about this powerful and impactful film and Trapero's own career as a  successful filmmaker screenwriter, producer and director of each of his  projects.

El Clan, Caracho, El elefante blanco, El Bonaerense, Leonera, Nacida y Criado, are some of his films, loved by critics and audience.
