KIMURA

Synopsis: 
Armando is the eldest of three brothers that live in a Judo academy located in the Casco Antiguo. His youngest brother, Andres, dies of a heart attack during a clandestine fight that Armando had suggested. Overcome with guilt, Armando abandons the country, leaving behind the academy, his family and his girlfriend. Years later he returns, looking for forgiveness, but everything has changed: his father has died and the academy is almost bankrupt. So he decides to start training to participate in the well known mixed martial arts tournament called Kimura. He discovers that his middle brother is also participating, forcing the siblings to resolve their differences in the ring.

Aldo Rey Valderrama

Aldo Rey Valderrama is a Panamanian editor and director. He graduated from the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Television (EICTV) of San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba. He worked in the editing department of the Academy of Media Arts, (Kunsthochschule für Mediem, KHM), in Cologne, Germany. He has edited various short films and features.
